Great Budget Car
by Jason on 4/13/2026 1:58:40 PM
It was very easy to average 35-37 mpg on the highway if you drive conservatively. The interior was mediocre and felt rather cheap. Cabin noise could use some improvement as well. The biggest issue for me was the brakes squeaking so loudly. I took my car to Chevrolet many times, and they said the brakes are perfectly fine. If you are in search of a budget vehicle and have a small family, this vehicle would be perfect. Otherwise, the car was smooth and nice to drive. - 5.0
Impressive little SUV
by ScottyB on 2/25/2026 7:09:36 PM
Replaced my 2019 Camaro with a 2021 Trailblazer LT. Smaller 1.3 engine, but the turbo moves it along briskly. Handling is slow, but the ride is decent. Interior is quiet and well laid out. Similar layout as the Camaro so transition was easy. Decent infotainment system and wireless connection for android or apple. Heated seats are welcome as well as the auto setting on the HVAC. Power seats and even lumbar are a nice feature. So far I am pleased with the vehicle, I had no issues with my Camaro other than I racked up a lot of miles and needed a lower mileage daily driver. Chevy was my first choice based on prior experience. - 5.0
We love our lil 4x4!
by Trailblazer LT 4x4 on 12/4/2025 2:35:06 AM
We have a 2025 Trailblazer LT 4wd, and love it! It’s so nice to have a 4x4 that gets 34/36 mpg and yet has much more safety features than most in its class of trim. I’ve had and have been very happy with the Traverse and the Equinox, but I didn’t want to be in debt for so long with buying the Traverse, and the Equinox was more than I wanted to spend also, but the $26,000 Trailblazer was just perfect for my budget, and the four of us fit very well even with all our gear in it. It’s great off road, for which half of my drive to work is, the suspension is really nice, and it has great power/ traction for the rough steep hills. The 4 ply all season tires it comes with are not good, but thankfully the 2025 model comes with a spare tire, I have not used it, though I have had to put air in the tires. I purchased a set of (4) 6 ply mud/snow studded tires on rims for which work super great, the 4wd ability works much better than my 2500 hd, and much better than either the Traverse or Equinox did, technology just keeps getting better and better. Low gear is not real low, but it’s fine for 5-7 mpg. We haul our (2) kayaks and mountain bikes on it, and it supports them well. Once the 20 year/200,000 mile warranty is up, I’m going get another one, I have studied a lot on sub compact SUVs, and the Trailblazer has everything I need and more.
