        Weak engine

        I bought my 2021 insight brand new. Only a couple of adjustments to a couple of valves when it stopped without power. Mechanic at Honda said he’d seen it a couple of times. Live in the mountains and definitely doesn’t get more than 38mpg. A very weak engine. Love the dash and everything about the electrical system has been fine. I’ve had no problems except the valves and it’s got 159,000 on it. I drive a lot for work. Have done nothing to it but change the oil and transmission fluid every 40,000 miles as suggested.…

        My Insight has never needed any repair. It is so dependable. I never doubt that it will do what I need it to do I regularly get more than 50 MPG…

        I genuinely like this car because I have had no major issues for 3 years. Unfortunately, I need to upgrade to a bigger car because I have 2 dogs and you can't fit much in it. I definitely think it is a good choice for reliability but don't think the seats are very comfortable on long rides.…
